Dr Amir Toroghi is the founder and principal dentist at Relax Dental and Facial Care in Blackburn North. He earned his Professional Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2006 in Tehran and gained broad early experience across public health, private practice, emergency care and trauma cases.

After moving to Australia, Dr Amir worked at the Royal Dental Hospital and La Trobe Community Health Service before establishing Relax Dental Care in 2013. His approach centres on prevention, patient education and clear communication, so patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options before care begins.

Dr Amir also provides advanced facial aesthetic treatments and has completed training in Australia and the USA. He holds a Fellowship with the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics and a Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr Ellie Borhani is an experienced dentist with a strong focus on children's oral health and wellbeing. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2006 in Tehran and has been committed to caring for young patients throughout her career.

Families value her warm, engaging approach and the way she explains dental care in child-friendly language. Her aim is to help children feel relaxed and confident, creating positive dental visits that support lifelong healthy habits.

Since founding Relax Dental Care alongside Dr Amir, Dr Ellie has helped shape a clinic environment that is welcoming for children and supportive for parents.

Dr Ern Chee Yap earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2008 and brings over 17 years of clinical experience to Relax Dental and Facial Care in Blackburn North.

Known for her friendly and approachable nature, Dr Ern Chee builds strong patient relationships through attentive care and clear communication. She is committed to creating positive dental experiences for individuals and families.

Alongside comprehensive general dentistry, Dr Ern Chee has a strong focus on aesthetic treatments and enjoys helping patients enhance their smiles with personalised treatment plans tailored to their goals.

Dr Cedric Ong completed his Master of Dentistry at La Trobe University and built more than a decade of hands-on experience in regional Victoria before returning to Melbourne to continue general dentistry.

He is known for a calm, gentle chairside manner and a respectful, non-judgemental approach. Dr Cedric explains tailored options clearly, helping patients make informed decisions about their oral health.

Dr Cedric provides comprehensive care for individuals and families, with particular interests in endodontics, orthodontics, traditional braces and clear aligners. He completed a postgraduate diploma in orthodontics from 2022 to 2023.

Dr Kelly is a friendly and compassionate dentist who takes a holistic approach to patient care. She enjoys working with individuals and families to support long-term oral health and confident smiles.

Building strong relationships, especially with children, is central to her approach. Her goal is to make dental visits enjoyable, comfortable and stress-free.

After graduating with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2009, Dr Kelly began her career in public dental clinics across rural and remote Victoria before moving into private practice. She has particular interests in restorative care, orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, and airway-focused early orthopaedics and orthodontics for children.

Daniel Fagliarone is an experienced Dental Prosthetist with more than 12 years in the field. A graduate of Melbourne University, he focuses on quality, comfort and personalised denture care in a warm, patient-centred setting.

Daniel offers one-on-one consultations so each patient’s denture needs can be carefully understood and addressed. His dentures are custom-designed and manufactured in his on-site laboratory for precision, consistency and craftsmanship.
