Dermal Fillers is a non- invasive treatment which is commonly used to restore volume and plumpness to various parts of your face such as your lips, chin, cheeks, the jawline and even the nose.

As we age, our skin loses elasticity, volume and structural support which leads to the deterioration in skin health.

Industry best professionals recommend Dermal fillers for the treatment of:

  • Improving the appearance of soft tissues

  • Lip enhancement

The benefit to using Dermal fillers at our Blackburn Dental and Facial Aesthetic Clinic is that it’s fast and easy. Injections are administered and improvements are visible instantly.

FAQs

What are the dermal fillers made up of?

The dermal fillers contain a substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which is already naturally present in our skin, eyes and joints. Like other natural substances such as collagen and elastin, the level of HA found in our bodies is reduced as we get older which results in our skin looking less plump due to the lack of support in our facial structure. Dermal fillers restore this volume which smooths out the lines and wrinkles. In addition to this, HA is very hydrating and can improve the condition of the skin.
