Thread Lift Consultation
Thread lift treatment may be discussed for suitable patients interested in supporting facial structure and skin firmness. A consultation is needed to assess anatomy, goals and risk factors.
How Treatment Is Discussed
Your clinician will explain how threads are placed, what the appointment may involve, expected aftercare, limitations, alternatives and possible risks before consent.
Preparation Before Treatment
Your practitioner may provide preparation instructions before treatment.
- Avoid alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours before treatment if advised
- Discuss blood-thinning or anti-inflammatory medication before the appointment
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Avoid makeup on the day if instructed
Post-Treatment Information
Aftercare is provided in detail on the day. You may be advised to avoid direct ultraviolet exposure, intensive exercise, hot showers, spas, saunas, swimming, spray tanning, tattooing and other facial treatments for a period after care.
Comfort and Consent
Local anaesthetic may be discussed where suitable. All patients are required to complete consent and consultation documentation before any clinical treatment.
Warning and Second Opinion
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you may wish to seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
