What Is the Child Dental Benefits Schedule?
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule is a Medicare program for eligible children. Services Australia states that eligible children can receive up to $1,158 in benefits over two consecutive calendar years, current from 1 January 2026. Eligibility and the remaining balance are determined by Medicare.
What Does CDBS Cover?
CDBS may cover basic dental services for eligible children. It does not cover orthodontic or cosmetic dental work, or services provided in a hospital.

Who Is Eligible?
