Micro Needling or Skin Needling with Dermapen

Skin Needling PRP in Blckburn

The Dermapen skin needling is a corrective treatment that stimulates the body’s own natural healing and regenerative response. It’s an increasingly popular and innovative way to improve the appearance of aging, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, stretchmarks and scar tissue on the face and body areas.

At our Blackburn Dental and Facial Aesthetic Clinic, we use the Dermapen skin needling which is a global best practice innovation and is highly recommended by industry professionals. It is essentially a small device that resembles a pen and is generally used for microneedling / skin needling on people with skin issues. The end result leaves patients with a tightened, rejuvenated and glowing skin.

Industry best professionals recommend Dermapen skin needling for the treatment of:

  • Aged and sagging skin

  • Fine line and wrinkles

  • Vertical lip lines

  • Skin tightening and rejuvenation

  • Enlarged pores

  • Pigmentation

  • Photodamaged skin

The Dermapen skin needling treatment encompasses many of the benefits of a laser treatment - but without the severe side effects or the long recovery time. This is because unlike traditional skin needling rollers, Dermapen skin needling causes fewer traumas to the skin which reduces the pain and discomfort. The treatment is so gentle in fact, that it is safe to use in delicate and difficult to reach places such as around the eyes and lips.

At our Blackburn Dental and Facial Aesthetic Clinic, our practitioners have been trained and are highly qualified in the use of Dermapen skin needling. Your comfort is our priority; therefore if at any point you feel discomfort throughout the procedure, please inform us immediately.

Due to this, all patients are required to complete a Dermapen skin needling Consultation form prior to any clinical treatment at our Blackburn Dental and Facial Aesthetic Clinic which will then be assessed by a qualified Dermapen practitioner.
