Porcelain Veneers and Composite Veneers:
Dental Veneers are thin coverings that are placed over the front visible part of the tooth to cover stains, discolouration, fix wide gaps or crooked, oddly shaped and badly aligned teeth. There are 2 types of dental veneers: porcelain veneers and composite veneers. Our dentists at Relax Dental and Facial Care will help you choose the right dental veneer that is perfect for you. Porcelain Veneer is custom made to fit on your teeth. Porcelain veneers are strong and long lasting and don’t stain easily. All preparations and impressions are done and taken by our dentists here at our Blackburn Dental and Facial Clinic and is then sent off to our highly qualified dental lab technicians to be made especially for you. Composite Veneer is made from tooth coloured filling material which is then bonded to your tooth. It is very cost effective and is done here at our Blackburn Dental and Facial Clinic by our dentists.
Teeth whitening:
Over time, teeth often become stained or yellow. Lifestyle habits such as smoking, alcohol, coffee or tea can contribute and expedite this; however the natural aging process also takes a toll after some time. Tooth whitening procedures lighten the teeth to remove stains and yellowing, giving you the confidence to smile again. This can be achieved through our home whitening kit or In-office bleaching (In- chair whitening). If you prefer to have whitening done in the comfort of your own home, our dentist at Relax Dental and Facial Care will make special whitening trays for your upper and lower teeth. Moulds of the teeth are taken by our dentists here at our Blackburn Dental and Facial Clinic and the process takes only 10 minutes. The mould is then sent off to our highly qualified dental lab technicians. The whitening trays will be returned in a few business days ready for you to use immediately. Office bleaching (In chair whitening) is the fastest way to change the colour of your teeth and it is done here at our Blackburn Dental and Facial Clinic. The teeth whitening procedure is usually done in about 1.5 hours and results can be seen immediately. All in-office bleaching is supervised by our dentists here at Relax Dental and Facial Care.
Dental jewellery:
We can fit costume diamonds or real diamonds to your teeth to help you express your individuality. Fittings takes only 15 minutes. When properly installed by a dentist, tooth jewellery does not damage or harm your teeth in any way. This is a painless procedure with no drilling involved.
